Web design and local SEO for Spokane small businesses

Spokane is where most of my clients are. Not a national agency with a Spokane landing page — one person, run out of Coeur d'Alene about thirty-five minutes east, in town most weeks, working with businesses across the city and the Valley.

That matters more than it sounds. When you describe your customers to me, I already know the neighborhoods. When you tell me who you compete with, I can usually pull up their site right there on the call.

Also working with businesses in Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Cheney, Deer Park, Airway Heights.

Working in Spokane

What matters for Spokane businesses

  • Spokane and Spokane Valley are different search markets

People searching from the Valley often add "Valley" to the query, and Google weighs how close a business is to whoever is searching — so the same search run downtown and run in the Valley can return a different map. If your site only ever says "Spokane," you can be invisible to half your service area. I set up your pages and your Google Business Profile so both work.

  • A lot of local search here happens in a truck

Home services, trades, and contractors get found by someone standing in their driveway with a problem. That means your site has to load fast on a mediocre connection and put your phone number where a thumb can reach it. I build for that first and make it look good second — which, done right, is the same thing.

  • The Inland Northwest is small enough that reputation travels

Word of mouth still does a lot of the work here. Your website's job is usually to confirm what somebody already heard about you — which means it needs to look like the business people described, not a template with your logo dropped in.
